Fred is Freed

Just days after his second arrest this year, the Miami Dolphins have let go of their young defensive tackle. Fred Evans was released earlier today according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Of course we all saw it coming, as Dolphins Head Coach Cam Cameron immediately responded to the arrest with a statement all but releasing the defensive tackle.

Evans' agent, famous Drew Rosenhaus, couldn't talk his way out of this one. No one could have. The young defensive tackle's fate had already been decided. You know the story. Evans pleads guilty to marijuana possession early in the year. Saturday Evans is arrested with multiple charges including taking a chapter out of the Pacman Jones book when biting a police officer.
