Jon Kitna Called Into Radio Station Drunk

No, not really, but something must have been wrong with him to say, "I'll keep to myself what I think we actually will win, but it's more than 10 games." What? Jon Kitna said that? The future Hall of Fame Quarterback (cough, cough) uttered those words to a local radio station in Detroit.

"Teams have gone from 3-13, 4-12 and 5-11 to having great leaps, and we're the team to do it," Kitna added. Yes, teams have gone from the agony of defeat, to the thrill of victory, but none of them were stuck with Jon Kitna at quarterback.

Jon, I applaud you for having the utmost confidence in your team and your skills, but what I think you meant to say is, "I'll keep to myself what I think we actually will lose, but it's more than 10 games."

By the way Jon, please don't lead the Lions to ten or more wins, you will make me look very bad.

I dunno Brandon, the Lions offense looks kinda nice this year. Jon Kitna, who did pretty good last year, throwing to roy williams and calvin johnson. Also, you got Kevin Jones, Tatum Bell, and Brian Calhoun in the backfield.....

I think that Mr. Kitna may just have a point....(Or the lions could continue to be one of the worst franchises in football!)

Its people like you who make me regret what I write. They are the Lions. I don't ever see them being good. As a Bengals season ticket holder, I watched a lot of Jon Kitna. He is terrible. He can't throw farther than 40 yards with his tiny hands. I just don't ever see him leading a team further than what Kitna is himself, mediocre.

Jon Kitna has skills, or else he wouldn't be starting QB in the NFL. He believes in his team which is good. The Lions offense looks very good, but their O-Line looks horrid (again). The O-Line is what anchors the offense. The defense aint that great either, but we'll see. I see the Lions as a 7 win team.

The Lions will get 6 wins at most, a lot of them from Drew Stanton who will take the starting job. Kevin Jones will get injured again, Tatum Bell won't fit with the system, i could see Calhoun a starter after this season, and they can bring in Duckett to pound it in during goal line situations. They'll need another early draft pick and a good free agency to get any better.
