Linebacker Lavar Arrington was hospitalized with serious injuries after his motorcycle crashed on a highway ramp. The injuries are not life threatening, but Lavar does have a few broken bones, as to be expected.
Police do not know how fast Arrington was traveling when he lost control and slammed his bike into a guardrail. Arrington, 29, was wearing a helmet and police say no alcohol was involved.
Arrington had a few broken bones according to his lawyer Rosalyn Pugh, but had not yet had surgery. Arrington was expected to stay the night at the hospital, so that he could be reevaluated in the morning.

My family has had the opportunity to encounter Lavar 3 times. One with my father responding to this particular accident. My mom's friend is his wife. Also, i met him at the Children's Place in the Annapolis mall. Even though he left the Redskins, hes a great guy, its unfortunate something terrible like this had to happen to him... i hope he bounces back.
