The seriousness of Lavar Arringtons injury could be overexaggerated, depending on what you heard. A source who was a first responder at the scence of the accident said Lavar looked, "Messed up." Messed up being multiple broken bones, and he simply did not look like a guy who is an NFL veteran. Get well soon Lavar!

Apparently Gregg Williams had instructed Lavar to travel by car that day...
Since when do NFL players listen to anyone but themselves? That is interesting though, maybe there's another story that goes along with that? Bottom line is he made a mistake and now he is paying the price.
